Wow guys! So much has happened so fast! I've been able to crank out a few poems here and there. My most recent has to do with...well...my first kiss.

Let me just express my personal pride in having been the one to initiate the kiss. It was cute too- I couldn't have planned it better. A bit theatrical actually. I was upside-down. Why did I kiss him? I feel like an idiot. It was only a few days ago, but my stomach still hurts- and no it's not the flu. I told him it was in return for taking me to prom, and that he deserved it. Yes, he took me to prom.

Then later, when I was hanging out with friends, he pulled me aside privately and kissed me again- in return for earlier he said.

Oh, did I mention he's my best friend's older brother? Huh. That complicates things I think. I mean she has no idea, she would probably be weirded out. I could compromise both of my friendships...Shit what was I thinking?

We haven't said anything about 'it' since 'it' happened. It's only been a few days though- what if 'it' happens again?!

I'm not sure how I feel. But it's different then any crush. Lots of aching. Not lust or passion mind you- but a weird tingling feeling. Almost like stress. Now I understand the real feeling of butterflies. You can't say you know what it's like unless you've felt it for yourself.

Needless to say, I am very confused and a little freaked out. If there was ever a journal to comment on, this is it.

I am banging away on Chapter 2 (sounds pathetic, but it means a lot to me) in Pirate's Epic (a.k.a. my pirate novel with a lame cliche` title)

OH! This month I will be attending an Anime Convention, Bakuretsucon, in Vermont. Anyone else like to cosplay? I'll admit, I'm not that into it, and that is why I'll be dressing up as a video game character. I'm going as a "runner" from Mirror's Edge. I just ordered the 'runner's bag' via E-Bay.

I'm also taking classes at my town's college. Jeeze it's hard. I've been so busy lately. So don't worry about how late this journal is, I'm not dead or anything.
